BioAt previous stages of my adult life, I've been a student (undergraduate and graduate), a vagabond (in Europe), a financial editor, and a recreational-league hockey player, to name a few highlights. At this point, I'm a stay-at-home mom and housewife. Since this happens to be the one thing I could never envision myself doing, it stands to reason that I have a variety of other interests and activities, not the least of which is writing. I'm a not-so-closet Gargoyles and Hellsing geek, and have met some great writer pals that way. I'm also a life-long Cubs fan -- and yes, it does hurt sometimes. I love the small towns and rural backroads of Wisconsin. And I don't care whether my martinis are shaken or stirred, as long as they're made with the good stuff.
